I am an artist, first and foremost. Creating art is pretty much all I think about and do.

I am fortunate that, for more than a decade, I have been very successful licensing my artwork to a long list of wonderful manufacturers. I love creating beautiful artwork with my clients. We have fun working together developing cool and often best-selling products.  My goal is always to please.

My passion for art naturally lead me to an interest in teaching, and for over 20 years I have been an adjunct professor at California State University, Long Beach teaching watercolor painting and illustration.  CSULB is also where I earned my BFA and MFA degrees.  I love teaching and being around so many talented, enthusiastic students.  They keep me young and on my toes.

The person that keeps me on my toes where my business is concerned is my brilliant sister, Betsy.  All my clients know she is the brains behind my business, and I have a sneaking suspicion they like her better!
